“Eifman-Gala” offers a rare opportunity to experience, in a single evening, the finest highlights from the works of one of today’s foremost choreographers. The Boris Eifman State Academic Ballet Theatre of St. Petersburg will present a two-act concert program on the stage of the Grand Hall of the State Kremlin Palace.
The program features scenes from ballets that have brought the company global acclaim: *Anna Karenina*, *Rodin, Her Eternal Idol*, *Beyond Sin*, *Tchaikovsky. PRO et CONTRA*, *Russian Hamlet*, *Passions for Molière, or the Mask of Don Juan*, and others. Each excerpt stands as a complete choreographic statement, blending the dancers’ technical mastery with profound emotional depth.
Boris Eifman founded his company in 1977 and has since created nearly fifty ballets. Critics describe his style as “somatic psychoanalysis”: through the medium of dance, the choreographer explores human passions, conflicts, and the quest for the meaning of life.
The St. Petersburg-based company has captivated audiences at the world’s most prestigious venues, while Eifman himself has been honored with the highest state awards, including the titles of People's Artist of Russia and Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation.
This gala concert is held in celebration of the choreographer’s milestone anniversary. Don’t miss the chance to see a program that consistently draws full houses around the globe.
