It is worth noting that, in addition to the love triangle, Eifman's production also has another character - the corps de ballet. The maestro turned him not into a grey crowd, but into a full-fledged participant in history, personifying either social gossips at a ball or society at the races.

The part of Anna was performed in different years by different ballerinas of the troupe: Vera Arbuzova, Nina Zmievets, Anastasia Sitnikova, Natalia Povoroznyuk, Daria Reznik, Lyubov Andreeva and others. The male parts were performed by Alexey Turko, Yuri Smekalov, Oleg Gabyshev and many other famous dancers.
