Production of "Eugene Onegin" by the Boris Eifman Ballet Theatre

1. The performance is based on the novel in verse of the same name by Alexander Pushkin, but the action is transferred from the 1820s to our reality, and the main characters turn into iconic characters of our time, living at the turn of the century. The textbook plot develops against the backdrop of the turbulent nineties and the beginning of the 21st century.

2. The production won the Golden Soffit award in the Best Ballet Performance nomination, and the leading soloist of the Theater Oleg Gabyshev received an award for his performance of the part of Onegin.

3. The company's artists will present this ballet for the first time after a four-year break: the audience last enjoyed the production in 2018.
