The long-awaited series of performances by artists of the Boris Eifman Ballet Theatre

On February 15 and 16, spectators will be able to see the legendary ballet "Anna Karenina", and on February 17 and 18, the premiere of the 45th season, the play "The Seagull. Ballet History."

All the characters in the play "Anna Karenina" are just people who constantly ask themselves questions: is it strength or weakness to fall in love? To forgive and let go – is it strength or…? And – not to forgive? It’s not easy to balance, but if it doesn’t sway from side to side, what kind of life is it?

The story of Anna Karenina’s betrayal is the story of the ruined lives of all the heroes. How to endure? How to find peace of mind and faith? We invite you to questions and answers!

Eifman’s ballet “The Seagull. Ballet History” is an innovative performance for the already established style of Boris Eifman. The ballet combines the creative experience of the choreographer accumulated over decades and new plastic solutions, combining incompatible dance styles – from neoclassicism to hip-hop. In this performance, the internal action is expressed in pure choreographic forms, which indicates the choreographer’s transition to a new level of creative development.
