The troupe will perform a literary and choreographic tetralogy on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre
The 46th season will end with a grand tour in Moscow, where from July 25 to 30, the Historical Stage of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia will host a performance of a unique tetralogy called “Another Space of the Word,” which includes famous performances based on works of Russian classical literature: “The Seagull. Ballet History”, “Eugene Onegin”, “On the Other Side of Sin” and “Anna Karenina”. These tours will be part of the Open Arts Festival “Chereshnevy forest".
The troupe's Moscow season will begin with a performance of a plastic interpretation of the play by A.P. Chekhov (July 25 and 26) - the last production presented by the Theater in 2022. Then, on July 27, the tetralogy will continue with the play "Eugene Onegin". On July 28, the Moscow audience will be able to enjoy the only performance of the ballet "On the Other Side of Sin", which has not been staged in Moscow since 2017 and is a choreographic interpretation of "The Brothers Karamazov" by F.M. Dostoevsky and the novel in verse by A.S. Pushkin. The series of performances of the St. Petersburg troupe on the country's main stage will be completed by Boris Eifman's choreographic hit "Anna Karenina". The capital's audience will be able to enjoy the world-famous ballet based on the novel by L. N. Tolstoy on July 29 and 30, and on the final day of the tour the performance will be shown twice.
