The production "The Seagull. Ballet History" will be presented in St. Petersburg
The ballet «The Seagull. Ballet History» will be presented at the Alexandrinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg.
The troupe will present a ballet based on the play by A.P. Chekhov. The action has been transferred from a country estate to a rehearsal hall, where a master of classical choreography and a young experimenter obsessed with finding new dance forms compete, and love affairs are intertwined with creative torment.
The performance will immerse the audience in an emotionally charged world behind the scenes and show the public how works of art emerge from the infinitely diverse flow of life, uniting the eternal and the momentary.
